This store has been online since 1998. Proteinfactory is unique in that they create the protein powders themselves at their store. You can customize your protein powder and carb powder blends based on type, artificial sweetener, flavor, and other options. Controversies have erupted with Protein Factory in recent years, therefore we cannot in good conscience give it a better rating.

I’ve been dealing with these folks for several years now. I like it that I can call them and talk to the person responsible for making the formulas. Their shipping prices and their product prices are competitive. Their shipping has been fast. I’ve had no problem with them and will continue to deal with them.
I cannot imagine why they have been given a below average rating.

As mentioned before, there has been many controversies around this supplement store over the years, on multiple issues. I have actually used them before myself also, with no complaints.
I was actually generous with the rating, considering the controversies. If if it wasn’t for their unique product service and long history, they would be in the scam section.
I remember when 1fast400 showed lab results of their protein powder not living up to label claims, these guys threatened to sue him. They later dropped the suit though. One guy even went to protein factory and took pictures and posted it of the building because the protein was made at their animal feed store lol.
Even though they have had some controversies, all in all, I decided I’m going to now bump them up to a 3.5 rating because they do a unique service and have been around a long time. It’s too bad the owner and company wasn’t more professional because they would deserve a better rating than that.
